Foresight’s working method includes the organisation of bi-annual symposia in different parts of the world. Each symposium is organised in partnership with a local institution and provides a unique occasion to learn more about the specific country or region’s strategies and visions for the future. By bringing together senior politicians, policymakers and experts from across the world, these high-level seminars aim to clarify different “insider” and “outsider” perspectives on key global challenges that have particular relevance to the host country or region. By juxtaposing different perspectives against each other, the symposia aim to hammer out points of difference and potential agreement without taking for granted a consensus on a common global agenda.
